Sheltered Water Paddle Trip
–
20 April 2026
pen to members | Kit available | Free of charge
Join us for a relaxed sheltered water paddle on either a local reservoir or a gentle stretch of running water — the exact location will be confirmed closer to the date based on conditions, so we can make the most of whatever the weather brings us.
This trip is being run as part of a Paddlesport Leader assessment, so you'll be in safe hands with structured, well-organised leadership throughout the day. It's a great opportunity to get out on the water in a supportive environment.
What to expect
The session will focus on a comfortable, enjoyable paddle at a relaxed pace. Although prior paddling experience is necessary, this isn't an advanced trip — it's ideal for members who are comfortable on the water but would enjoy the confidence of being led somewhere new.
Who is this trip for?
To support the assessment requirements, we need paddlers who meet the following criteria:
- Some paddling experience — you should be comfortable on sheltered water, but this isn't a trip for advanced or independent paddlers
- Aged 18 or over
If you're not sure whether this trip is right for you, feel free to get in touch before signing up.
