🛶 HOLD THE DATE - Club Weekend at Sleningford Watermill 🛶
10th - 12th July 2025
We're planning a fantastic club weekend at Sleningford Watermill near Ripon - a venue with legendary status in our club's history! From regular sessions to the famous West Tanfield Slalom we used to run, Sleningford holds a special place in WYCC's 70 years, making it the perfect location to celebrate as we mark this milestone year.
What's Planned:
- Kayaking and paddleboarding (river level dependent)
- Swimming and splashing about in the sunshine
- Pizzas at camp
- Great company and club camaraderie!
Camping Options: Both electric and non-electric grass pitches will be available - we're reserving a block of pitches specifically for club members. we're also going to reserve the watermill lodge for those who dont want to camp.
Important: The campsite booking system isn't live yet, but we wanted to give everyone advance notice to save the date now. Booking details and the link will be shared as soon as they become available.
Whether you're a seasoned paddler or new to the club, this is a brilliant opportunity to enjoy a weekend on the water with fellow members at a venue that's been part of our club's story for decades.
